About Us
As with so many people, we started out gardening just for the sheer fun of it. Then, at a certain point, we developed special interests in a few plants. Paul got interested in peonies, then in daylilies and does some hybridizing. Dawn enjoys more the houseplants and also some perennials which can go outside in the summer and back inside when cooler weather comes like alstromeria and azaleas. We both have affection for heuchera, sedum, coreopsis and Echinacea. 
Plants are living things and continue to grow and therefore, most like to be divided every few years or they start to decline. In addition to this, if you've ever started plants from seed, you'll know that most packets contain more seed than one person can use. Because we like propagating plants, it seemed logical to open a business and offer divisions of our plants or seedlings to those who don't start from seed and prefer their flowers or vegetables ready to go into the ground. |
